As we count down to Christmas this year, we’re excited to share the story of a single mom from an informal settlement in Pretoria, Mpho Munyami.
Currently the proud owner of NAAH PRODUCTIONS (part of the manufacturing team producing locally for Kakiebos), Mpho attributes her success to the day she decided to save up R150 to attend POPUP’s “After Life Skills” and “Crafting My Future” courses.
Here she discovered her sewing skills and decided to build her own small business. In her own words: “POPUP took me from someone who had given up on life, believing I would amount to nothing and thinking of suicide – to a passionate, hardworking and motivated young lady who wants all life has to offer!”
